In the Instagram app, open Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information. Pick JSON and All time. Step-by-step guide.

2. Drop the zip here

Drop the whole zip, or just followers_1.json and following.json. Your file is processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

3. See the lists

Not following you back, fans, mutuals, pending requests, recently unfollowed, your DMs and a few fun stats.

Why use your data download instead of an “unfollowers” app?

Most unfollower apps ask for your Instagram username and password, then log in as you. That breaks Instagram’s rules, and accounts used that way regularly get flagged, rate-limited or locked. Some of those apps also keep your login or sell access to your account.

FollowBackCheck.app never asks for your password. It reads the official copy of your data that Instagram itself gives you, and it does that inside your browser. Nothing in the file is sent to us, so there is nothing for us to store, leak or sell.
